Darren and his team provided us with a detailed quote for the work to be carried out on our heating system. When they came across unexpected problems during the works, they worked to sort them without costing us too much extra. They worked efficiently and were considerate to our young family, trying to get hot water running as soon as possible, and keeping the noise down when our toddler slept! They finished the work a day earlier than expected and tidied up after themselves. I would highly recommend them.

He did not put us under any pressure unlike British Gas whose quote was also

higher. We have been delighted with the new boiler which has been more economical.

Our 30 year old boiler packed in over a long weekend, and with no British Gas contract we were stuck. We found Darren via a Google search, and even though it was a bank holiday he came over and found out what the problem was. He first replaced the immersion heater to give us time to make up our minds on what boiler to go for, and we were under no obligation to use his company. The advice he gave us was excellent and took into account all of the specifics of our house, and came with no hard sell. We believe strongly in supporting our local Godalming tradesmen, particularly if they are as good as Darren and his team, so going with them was an easy decision. They did a great job with the installation, commissioning and explaining how to get the best from our boiler. So we are VERY happy with DJW Plumbing, and knowing that should we have any problems in the years to come that we have great local support on our doorstep.

"Darren and his team at DJW Plumbing fitted a new Potterton boiler in our home recently. Their quotation for the work was about £1,000 cheaper than the quotation we got from British Gas. The team did an excellent job installing the new boiler. They were friendly and polite, made minimal mess and cleared up thoroughly afterwards. The boiler did develop a fault, but this proved to be due to the boiler itself rather than the installation. Darren came and inspected it promptly and got a Potterton engineer out to fix the fault under guarantee. One of the advantages of using DJW is that they are approved installers for Potterton and consequently we got an extra year's guarantee as standard.
We were very happy with the work done by DJW and would recommend them to anyone thinking of having a new boiler installed.

I was very lucky to have found Darren Whitefield's Gas Safe and Iphe credentials listed on the Internet, showing me that he lived quite near. I had a dangerous terminally ill Boiler that needed replacing as soon as possible. The Heat exchanger was corroded and leaking. I phoned him and got him straight away. He was round that day and surveyed the situation. Work was started and finished in next to no time. It was a daunting task which involved taking out metre after metre of old corroded Steel piping all around the large four bedroom Victorian building. However, the three man team made short work and cleaned up behind them unlike some Tradesmen I have known. For the sheer complexity of this project, which meant having to re-design the whole layout, I was very relieved to find the bill was way lower than I had anticipated.

DJW have been servicing my old boiler for a number of years. This year it failed on a safety issue so they installed a new Potterton boiler and upgraded the existing system to a high efficient standard.

The installation was a big upheaval for me is I am an elderly lady but Djw were very considerate and caused me as little disruption as possible. They worked very efficiently and obviously took great interest and pride in there work.

Excellent. Very professional in the way they worked and always cleared up at the end of each day and left the house clean and tidy, they followed all regulations completely.

I have been a very happy customer of DJW since the business began, so when it came time to replace my boiler they were the obvious and only choice for me! My only worry this time was that parts of my kitchen units needed deconstructing to allow the work to happen - well, I should have known, there was no need for concern ! The work was carried out with the usual efficiency and care [NO mess at all!] and my kitchen was so well restored that I was asked soon afterwards when the work was going to happen!!! Plus, I subsequently discovered from a neighbour who asked me [having noticed the DJW van] that the price DJW charged was extremely competitive - he had been quoted VERY much more by British Gas.

Oh, and by the way, the new boiler is BRILLIANT!!
